If you grew up with a parent who was unpredictable, self-focused, or emotionally unavailable, the effects can linger. Guilt, self-doubt, confusion, and difficulty connecting with others are common experiences. You are not alone.

We’re offering a dedicated group therapy space for Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, led by licensed therapist Roseanna Lance, LPC.

This therapist-led group will explore the lasting impact of emotionally immature parenting and help you reclaim your voice, your boundaries, and your self-worth – all within a supportive, judgment-free setting.

The Healing Work We’ll Do

In this group, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Understand the traits and behaviors of emotionally immature parents

Explore how childhood patterns affect adult relationships

Set healthy emotional boundaries

Build connection and resilience through shared experience

Begin healing in a safe, therapist-guided space

We welcome you if this is your first step toward healing or part of your ongoing growth.

Life can be difficult when you are dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or emotional regulation. These experiences often make you feel like you are navigating a difficult path alone. 
 
Our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group offers a different way forward.
 
It is a confidential space to connect with others who understand because they are on similar paths. Led by Brooke Swinehart, LCSW, whose approach is kind and compassionate, this group provides a warm and supportive environment. Here, we’ll work together to build practical coping techniques, emotional regulation skills, explore challenges in relationships, and find the strength that comes from shared experience.

The Work We Will Do Together

This therapist-led group will help you:

Develop practical skills to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Process grief and trauma in a safe, professionally guided environment.

Improve your communication and connection in relationships.

Strengthen your sense of self and confidence.

Feel understood and less alone by sharing with your peers.

Our Mental Health Recovery group is here to support your growth.

Adolescent DBT Skills Group

(Ages 13–17 | Virtually via Zoom | Wednesdays 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
 
If you’re a teenager feeling overwhelmed by emotions, stress, or turbulence in relationships, this group is for you. Under the guidance of licensed therapist Roseanna Lance, you’ll learn real DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills to help you regulate emotions, build resilience, and strengthen your sense of self—alongside peers who understand the same struggles.

The Growth Journey Ahead

In this therapist-led adolescent DBT group, you will have the chance to:

Learn emotion regulation strategies that help you ride the waves, instead of being swallowed by them

Practice distress tolerance skills for tough moments when things feel intense

Deepen mindfulness and grounding techniques to stay present

Improve interpersonal effectiveness—communicating and relating more healthily

Share experiences, support one another, and discover you’re not alone

This group is open whether you’re just starting your emotional growth journey or already doing individual therapy. Everyone is welcome.
